Long time, no talk! Its been quite some time since I have written a post. I honestly was just feeling burnt out and did not feel like writing. I planned on taking a month off and then returning. However, right as I was planning on making my return life got BUSY! Between moving, traveling and a whole bunch of other stuff life is finally settling down and I am ready to focus again.
So where have I been?
15 minutes across town. At the end of May we found out that our landlord would not be renewing the lease on our townhouse. We had till mid-July to find a new place. Naturally I cried, then panicked, and then cried again. My husband was at school when we got the news so instead of just sitting there feeling sorry for myself I called a relator to help us find a new place. The next day we looked at a townhouse and house. Less than 48 hours of getting the call that we had to move we signed a 3 year lease for the house. I thought I was going to miss the townhouse but I love being in an acutal house. It is such a cute space and I acutally have my own office space which is super nice. There are only two bathrooms (compared to the 3 1/2 I had to clean in the townhouse) and it has a nice big spacious deck and backyard for entertaining. We are happy here and look forward to creating many memories over the next 3 years!
A lot. Most of our weekends have been spent traveling this summer. The first week of June we drove up to New York so I could see my best friend of almost 20 years! We spent the weekend exploring one of the many places I lived growing up and I got to meet her precious daughter. The next weekend, my cousin got married in West Virigina. It was such a nice weekend getting to see family that I haven’t seen since 2019. I finally got to hug my Nana and spend time with her without it being on a screen. I got to see my parents too! The next weekend we stayed at home. The last weekend of June we went to Washington D.C. for a long weekend to celebrate our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of being married. I honestly can’t believe a whole year has already passed. It feels just like yesterday. We were able to go to a couple of museums and a fancy dinner. It was just nice to spend quality time together before our big move in July. And finally the first week of July my sister, brother-in-law and nephew came to visit for a day and then we all traveled to Pennslyvania to spend the 4th of July with my cousin and her family. Again it was so nice to be together and just spend quality time as a family. And then we just focused on moving until the first week of August. We just recently got back from our last trip for awhile. We went to Florida to celebrate our nephews 2nd birthday. I can’t believe he is two already!
And won an award for his thesis. At the end of July my smart and handsome husband graduated with his Masters degree. I am so proud of him and how hard he work this last year especially with the added challenges of the pandemic. His family came to Maryland and spent the weekend with us to celebrate! It was so nice to see them especially since we hadn’t seen my brother-in-law and future sister-in-law since they got engaged. It was so nice to celebrate them too! I loved being able to host my family in our house and instead of the townhouse. I also had a graduation party for Marek since none of us could attend the actual ceremony. It was a great weekend and Marek started his new job right away!

I have all of you to thank for your support and encouragement. In honor of this big change I decided to update my logo and website to better represent my brand and personality. I am so excited to share with you all the big changes and projects I have planned this next year. But for now I am going relax and continued working on my business. To start you can expect blog posts from me once a month until I am back into the swing of things. I want to hear from you! What kind of blog posts do you want to see from me? Message me today!
